"This fraternity will be different, it will be based on the love of God and the principle of peace through brotherhood. The number of members will be increased from the undergraduate classes. We will change the name to Sigma Phi Epsilon." - William Lazell Phillips

Dad’s weekend 2019 is in the books! The dad’s came up on the 27th and 28th of September to enjoy some scramble golf at Colbert, watching the Cat’s take on Oklahoma State at Kite’s, and enjoying the rest of the time with their son's and their friends. Great weekend and a big thanks to Nick Hulsing for organizing the weekend!

Scholarship dinner took place in mid September. We recognized all of our brothers who went above and beyond in the classroom. Congratulations to those who earned 3.5 and 4.0’s last semester.

Throughout the summer of 2019, our AVC Board has spent time upgrading new features to our house. One of those that has everyone excited to move back in is the new flooring! The epoxy flooring was recently finished in August in time for the brother’s to move in. We can’t thank our AVC Board enough for coming through with the new floors!

In July of 2019, Sig Ep’s biannual Conclave was located in Houston, Texas. Brother’s Kyle Ruder and Jack Morrissey both attended to represent our KS Beta Chapter. Over 200 other Chapter’s from around the country were also in attendance. Both Jack and Kyle were networking, learning, and voting on policies for the National Board. Next Conclave will be in 2021 in Denver, Colorado!

2019-20 Chapter President Cameron Webb attending Ruck Leadership Institute in June of 2019. Here he is at the Zollinger House in Richmond, Virginia where the Sigma Phi Epsilon Fraternity Headquarters are located.

Our intramural basketball team bought home their second title in four years! Sig Ep beat Theta Xi in the championship game 54-49. Great way to cap off the intramural winter sports season.

In February of 2018, we celebrated our chapter's 100th anniversary.  We hosted a celebration at the Hilton Garden Inn and were joined by over 100 alumni.  This was a great event and we deeply enjoyed sharing stories between present and previous member of SigEp.  Heres to another hundred years!
